Dundalk American Legion Auxiliary Meetings:
Each Month, Every 2nd Wednesday at 7:00 pm
In the spirit of Service, Not Self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
The vision of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion while becoming the premier service organization and foundation of every community providing support for our veterans, our military, and their families by shaping a positive future in an atmosphere of fellowship, patriotism, peace and security.
With the 2019-2020 Installation of new officers, we welcome a new Unit President, Deborah Simmont.
Deborah has had two big changes recently, both being elected our new President and being a Bride and marrying our SAL Commander Harry Simmont. With Deborah and the rest of our incoming officers, there is great excitement for what we can accomplish, growing the Auxiliary and working hand-in-hand to make Dundalk Post 38 the best Post in Maryland.
Deborah replaced outgoing President, Nancy August, who had previously served for decades in the position; we thank Nancy for her long service and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
Membership in the American Legion Auxiliary shall be limited to the grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, and direct and adopted female descendants of members of The American Legion, and to the grandmothers, mothers, sisters, wives, and direct and adopted female descendants of all men and women who were in the Armed Forces of the United States during WWI or from Dec 7, 1941 through Present or died in the line of duty during such service, or who, having received an Honorable Discharge, died after service.
